hey, going to have one last atempt to get this to work before i get another one
does anyone know where to get a manual for this? searches didn't bring up much info.

i noticed that there are small bits of wire joining some terminal blocks together, should i remove them?
i get a single red light on the interface when i put the 6v into it, should anything else be lighting up?
i have installed the disc that came with it on my laptop, is there something i have to do on that?

i apologise for asking the stupid questions

Leave the wires they are needed.

The red light shows power is getting to it, when it receives a radio signal it changes to green.
With everything on, I'd plug a servo into the rx into another channel and see it you have control of it.

the servo works fine, i can see the led beside the red one flickering slighly though.
i had a though, with some of the antweight contolers won't work with the cheap dsm2 rxs or corona ones, would the interface have this?

I think you might be powering it twice...

Are you putting 9v into the board and using a receiver battery ???

You only need one of the above .

              Re: ian swan interface

Well try just powering the receiver .

There will be a dim reflection on the green led, but the red needs to go out and green on,

                  Re: ian swan interface

I had this issue with md, it turned out that a jumper had come off, I'll have a look today at one and see which one it was, I'll post a pic tonight when I get back.

Other than that I dont know anything else to try.

                      Re: ian swan interface

The jumper is the on next to where the receiver wires plug in.
To the right of them in your picture, seeing as its on then I can't be much help.

Just double check you rx leads etc it should work.
There is a reset jumper you pull out.

That's all I can think, or double powering it has killed it, without having a play myself difficult to say, I've never had one fail.

bring the whole setup. I will have my off-roader which uses 4QD200s, also terry will be there who i believe they belong to before.
