Im almost certain that a Scuttle type arrangement wont qualify as a walker. To get the extra weight limit, youd need legs like a giant insect (take http://www.use-the.net/robots/flik/walker.htm>

Didnt the guys behind scuttle build a walker along the same lines that did qualify as a walker. Anarchy or somthing like that I think.
I think the wheels on the top may be a problem though.
I also considered building a walker along the lines of scuttle and I worked out that by extending the legs out the top you can actually make a walker that will work both ways up. But it would leave your leg mechanism exposed to axes and crushers. So maybe a good SRMech would be a better option.

I was a bit surprised originally that Skuttles mechanism counts as a walker - although its indubitably clever. A thought some versions of the rules once said something about independant horizontal and vertical motion for each appendage (as Miss Struts had, for example).
Someday well see one of those competitive.
