thanks you so much for all your advice guys, your all such a help and its nice to see some of the (what i would cinsider) legends of robot wars helping out people like me
my plan now is:
1) get my feather finished (only got a couple more parts too get)
2) draw up some detailed plans for my heavyweight and look at costing for all the parts i need etc
3) take it from the end of 2
the more i look the more im thinking about a sort of bar lifter/flipper hybrid that is still abe to chuck stuff up and out yet can also run inverted which is what i personally quite like in a robot
