Note with this setup you MUST dump/vent gas from the buffer tank or the main feed to the QEV valve....that's the BIG tube......venting from other lines will cause the QEV to open and the cylinder to fire!.Comment

I should also have said that the size of the 5/2 valve only affects the buffer tank fill / refill time ... IMO any size will do.Comment

Right got some tube with 20mm ID today out of a skip at work, so i can at long last get this thing made as any money i've had over the last few months i've spent on my ali feather lol
thursdays my first day off work so with a bit of luck im either gonna get my ali feather finished or get the ram mounted in the heavy using the tube i got
hopefully updates soon

I did decide to ditch this robot, in favour of an electric axe but realistically its taken a year and a half to get it to this stage because of a lack of motivation and time, so im just sticking to my guns and finishing this. mounted the ram on friday as i was off work pics to follow soon
