                    Pictured at the SED show yesterday (see profile), this is how Ka-Pow! is looking at the moment, minus the pneumatic system and flipper arm, which are being revised. First time Ive driven it on a wooden floor with the BTUs, and it seemed basically fine. James Baker was getting some nice power slides out of it. No Gyro installed yet. Still using three PBQ 9Ah lead-acid batteries at the moment to get 36v, but we do have ni-cads (cheers Jason!) to install and try soon. Theres still some work to be done on the arm and the armour for it, but Alan already has pretty much all the bits for the version 1.5 pneumatics. Itll probably be yellow and silver like The Savage Toaster eventually, but Im warming to the current battleship grey colour, due to the nitride coating on the steel.

                      Just to let everyone know, now that I have nearly finished building a featherweight (hornet) I am now moving on to building my own heavyweight.

                      Basically its gonna be a scaled up version of hornet. Pic of armour on profile with hornet inside.

                        Another competitor prepares to enter the world of Robotic Boxing (Check Profile)...

                        Not yet finished;
                        * No head yet (or even an idea for shape) - though have 4-way pneumatics built for it.
                        * Arms need uppgraded as it punches like a girl at the moment (current job)
                        * Cosmetic bodywork etc needs attempted (but lets face it, my other robot is a box, so how good will it be).
                        * Mini fridge and stereo need fitted (not kidding)

                        Roger.

                          The Belgian builder of Pica 1 to 3, Brutus and hades in all the versions has at last finished Hades.
                          Originaly Gravity 3, but currently not even a bolt has left over of this machine.

                          It doesnt diminish the power of the machine.
