12mm at least in my opinion.
A coarse toothed circular saw or jigsaw on slow should do the job...... go too fast and the stuff melts.

Toxic uses 10mm in most places which normally is ok, there was and still is some 6mm but this gets pushed in and cuts to easily so I have doubled up 2 x 6mm which is better, but ive found 1 x 10mm is better (12 better still !)
I use a jigsaw to cut it its easy and even half blunt drill bits drill through it ok.
