Low Brushless motor for low horizontal spinner.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a brushless motor for a featherweight horizontal spinner?
(one to fit in an internal height of 49mm, custom pulley will likely be deisgned)

I guess you have to modify one.
Some people are using Motors from scorpion power, if i remember right, they are around 53mm heigh.

Look on banggood for some pancake motors but why you want something soo flat ?

Budget depending you might want to look at large commercial and industrial drone motors. Most are under the 60mm mark yet can still provide a lot of power but you pay for it with higher costs and a lower RPM/v of around 80-180.

Brands you might want to check out are Tiger Motor, KDE Direct, Neu Motors [Outrunners], Hacker Motor, Lumenier (T-Motor re-labeled?), Cobra Motors or Dualsky possibly.

Other option is to run the motor horizontal with a right angled gearbox.

Right angle Gearbox works well in Telekinesis, but I know Andy did look at a pancake motor. But we need more info in the weapon system

Nebelwerfer uses a 90° gearbox, 2-1 ratio. And the biggest brushless allowed by the GRA rules.
Machine runs both sides , with 80mm wheels.

FRA rules doesn't have a motor limit, I think the German Raptor class does tho.

CHASTA at Insomnia 2017 ran 2x C80100 7kW motors.
