Noob question about motor polarity/wiring

Hello there,

Had a lot going on this month but I'm finally getting back to wiring my robot up. Just wanted to ask a quick question although I think it might be a bit of a newby one lol.

When you wire the motors to the BotBitz 85A ESCs, which way round does the wires go to the motors. There's M1 and M2 on each controller but they are both black cables. Which is positive and negative or does it matter?

doesn't matter. switching them over just switches the direction the motor rotates in. Just a bit of trial and error to get it right.
