Motor choke/inductor

Just a query, the motors i run in Alpha (Bosch 120s) have a inductor/choke between the power connector and the brushs, does anybody know if these will cause any problems to speedos or alter performance?

Motor choke/inductor

Shouldnt cause a problem Alan - it will just increase the inductance of the motor, its low inductance motors that you want to worry about. Can you not take the inductors out of the circuit ?
