You can probably use the micro-V belts to drive the wheels - its wouldn't be too hard to make the one-piece hub & pulley from HDPE. Here are some photos of similar parts from my bots:

This is the J sized micro V pulley VS the old A size pulley. The micro V pulley can reliably wrap around a smaller pulley on the motor allowing my to use smaller & lighter pulleys. The micro V pulley looks complicated to make, but it just needs a simple cutter to be ground and accurate marking out.

This hub is from the horizontal spinner Demon. It only has one pulley but the concept is exactly the same as the drawing above.

ah, good to see these pictures.
So on the example pulley the disc (or whatever the weapon is) would be where the bolts are, right?

Okay, so i'll try to go for micro-Vs on drive and weapon, somehow like to have parts as similar as possible. (and space for the pulleys on the motor isn't much, too).
HDPE on the drive system, and Ali for weapon pulleys and hub... good.

        So, got some news:
somewhere my math went terribly wrong, after redoing it the bot was about 1.6kg too heavy.
Switched back to 4mm titanium for top and bottom plate (guess i shouldn't ram the wedge into spinners now) and made the weapon only 20mm thick.

now it's almost okay again, still... unsure if i could make the spokes a bit thinner without risking to break them or any other way to save weight or optimize the disc design, so i'm sharing it with you.

        Hope this works...

Balance seems good, it's just still very heavy and looking quiet massive on the inside.

Or do you guys see any other part in my sketches where i could save some weight?

it already seems to be kinda fragil.
