What are the advised ESCs to use with drill motors?

TZ85s. You can buy them pre-hacked for brushed motors or flash them yourself - search 'TZ85 hacking' in the forum for the thread with the guide on how to do it, if you have any questions after that, ask away.

You can buy them pre-hacked here - http://ranglebox.com/shop/ - Ellis also sells hacked 30A controllers which would be suitable for a single drill motor, but most people got TZ85A anyway as they have proven to be very reliable even when running dual motor configurations.

But yeah, if you don't wanna go through the hassle of hacking them yourself, you can go buy them from Ranglebox. Not sure when they'll be restocked though, I expect soon.

If you're just getting going buy them pre hacked, and drill motors will run fine on 30's, but 85's will future proof u.
