  • Nuts for wheel inserts Gimson motors

Can someone post a link for the long nuts that you melt into wheels, so you can screw them to a GR02?

We used these to make our wheels - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3-8-UNF-25...item5891b47a4b

Not claiming they're the best deal or most suitable, but they worked for us. Search YouTube for "making combat robot wheels", the videos we made explaining how we did ours should be the top three results.

Being 25mm long you may have to drill out one end of the nut once they're melted into the wheel for the reverse thread screw to reach the threads, once the wheel is in situ. That is if you use the reverse thread bolt like we do, with the head inside the wheel. Some use big washers and clamp onto the actual wheel hub, in which case the drilling out shouldn't be needed.

Thank you Sir, I have already watched your videos many times and they have inspired me to do the same. I will be using the 'Ellis Technique'
