  • Upgrading/Changing my actuator

After ignoring the 'Do not open unless authorized' label I took a look inside my actuator to find all this

Looks quiet standard but is there any way I could upgrade it to get some more power out of it?

I know the obvious stuff like 'Just buy a new one' or 'Over-volt it' but I want to see if there is any other options I can look at

What do you mean by "more power"? Do you want more force at tip, more speed or both? If both then you will need to either swap out the motor for something with more power or overvolt it. If you want more power OR more speed you may be able to change the gearing but its hard to tell as the picture is quite blurry.

Only just realized how poor this pic is!

Ideally would want more speed and force but its figuring the best motor for the job.

And the fact that its a 24v motor makes it that much more difficult to work with, would rather swap it out for a 12v or 18v motor

if its a bosch motor you might be able to find out if the did a 12v version on their website and track 1 down with the part number or see if they use the on cars or something
