    how would i wire these 3 batterys up to give me 21volts

    Wire them in series.


    With Batteries:
    Series ups the voltage
    Parallel ups the capacity

      pack a posotive to robot
      pack a negative to pack b posotive
      pack b negative to pack c posotive
      pack c negative to robot.

          i have had sucess in wiring up three batterys, i now have 23 volts, but i think i may have a problem now with charging it, do i need a 24vovt charger now

            Either that or use connectors to attach them together then take them all apart to charge.

              No, you charge the 3 packs individually. You can get chargers that will charge the lot in one go however because you have more wire between some of the cells in the batteries you have a greater resistance. This can create an imbalance in the pack when charging. Not as much of an issue with Nimh but I would always recommend charging the 3 packs separately
