    Re: Batteries

Yeh, you just have to run them in a series circuit, just make a contector like Harry's, that's the easiest way to do it, but get the tabs on the connectors the right way round.

So the two batteries are connected to the two dean's connectors and then that connection (on the right of the photo) just goes to the robot?

                Re: Batteries

Yes, they are bolts that we ground down into spikes.

                    Re: Batteries

Looks like we are nearly all ready to go. I was just looking at the build rules and think we have covered all aspects. However, I am not too certain about failsafes - Are these automatically on our receiver (we have a planet t5 at present) and ESC (Electronize FR30HX) or do we have to sort something out, and if so what?

                    Thanks

                      Re: Batteries

runn motors full forewad, turn off tx, if the motors stop, no problem, if not rebind the rx in neu...neau....netral....nuetyhtarea...
                      nuetrerhereal.... that word.
                      (or just get a spectrum)

I have this setup, and it failsafes (no fiddling at all). If life feels like playing nice that should mean yours will failsafe too.

Edit: and looking very good, I might add!

As far as I know, these batteries are over 4 years old at least.

The new ones are now branded Hawker Genesis NP.
