    on the bit where the valve screws into the bottle or on the output of the valve?

      between the bottle and the valve because the valve wont be required

        Is it to be used as a buffer tank?.... you can use the valave thats there, cap one side and thread a T joint where the powder would come out, I think that would be easier than trying to find an adapter for the neck thread of the bottle

          i wanted an adapter to save a bit of weight and space cos i'm using a small compressor to charge up 2 tanks and i getting a pressure sensor to turn the pump off at 150 psi

            It varies on the extinguisher, try and find one with an od on where the valve screws in is close to the od of a 1/2 bsp adapter. Then un screw the valve and jam a 1/2 male bsp adapter in there and araldite up
