      Re: Brocken receiver

If your speedos don't have BECs i cant see how you can have blown the RX, unless something has been wired very wrong, even the power to the speedos will only blow them and not the RX.

        Re: Brocken receiver

The rx is fine, just smells of burning. I've got the FR30HX so I don't think it has a bec. I will have to test. Maybe the becs have blown in the electronizes if they have one.

          I am 95% sure the 30a model doesn't have a BEC.

            Re: Brocken receiver

I did more tests, I used a rx battery and everything kind of worked. But tue rx and the wires going to the rx from the electronizers. I tried removing the red wires but then the motors wouldnt turn. I am not sure if the receiver is the problem or there is a problem else where which affects the receiever. Towards the end of my tests one of the channels stoppe working properly and then stopped all together and the other channel also went odd.
The electronizers made a clicking sound when the motors turned, is this normal?

The clicking is the relays inside, they will click when you change direction. Which red wire did you cut, the power wire or the signal wire? Depending how the electronizes are made, the chance are it will need power form the RX to run the logic side of the controller. Regarding it cutting out at the end, have you checked the batteries? A picture would be helpful of your setup wired up.

                  Re: Brocken receiver

The batteries may be running low on charge but it still doesn't explain why the receiver and wires got so hot
