        Re: co2 tank

i have just found this tank:
        http://www.rap4uk.com/product-p/9313.htm
considering this have a on/off valve built in, im guessing it would be lighter, more compact, and is less lightly to go wrong? thanks

          Re: co2 tank

this is my idea for the pnumatics set up, im relying on the thick piping before the solonoid valve to act as a buffer tank, and i think the CO2 tank comes with a pop of valve (i think thats what its called) but if not, i will add one in next to the dump valve, any sugestions for a pop of valve? thanks

            Re: co2 tank

If I see the picture, that thip piping is 15mm outside as best. Means 12mm inside.

length 300mm. Means volume 3,4 cc. Not much of a buffer.

              Re: co2 tank

yeah but this pnumatics system is designed for a beetle, so the rams volume is very small (the bore is only about a centimeter with a 6 or 7cm stroke) so i think the piping is surfishent for a buffer tank

                  Re: co2 tank

That is a burst disk, but without any rating, so probably 195 bar.
