    There was talk of trying to miniaturise it a bit as I think a number of feathers were having the same problem I was with the size of it. I remember David telling me he had mentioned making it similar sizes to a battery pack instead.

          By the looks of it the new specs are
          Drive: 6-wd running on 2x speed 900 @ 24v on a 8:1 ratio
          ESC: Victor 883
          Power: 24v 3300mah nimh
          Size: As small as possible
          Armour: 15mm HDPE and 4mm Steel

            I think you'll need 2 Victor 883's but other than that it seems ok

                Hiya folks

                Satanix's victors have always ran fine, but the cooling fans are a tad delicate for the application, I ran them at edinburgh without them and they ran fine without them. I run my 900s on 18v and a 6:1 ratio, 130mm wheels, which is a tad fast, I would recommend a higher ratio than mine (10:1 is recommended).

                The victor 883s also run a 6WD robot called Pain In The Asp, and that runs 1HP Astroflight motors. not sure what ratio.
