  • drill motor wheels

    hi everyone

my 100mm robochallenge wheels and slightly to small for my body shell yet 125mm wheels will be too large, can anyone recomend me some around 110mm that can take having nut inserts put in? or by te offchance if anyone has any really worn down 125mm?

failing that, anything else you can recomend? oh, and i want to avoid putting bike tyre on if possible unless its the cheapest and/or easiest way to solve my problem

Try banebots wheels, If they don't do the right size use tyres

Bike tyres would be cheapest, just get the bike tyres for free .

Banebots seems to only do 98 or 124 so not much luck there

You might be able to get a 125mm or so wheels and turn off some of the rubber so that they are the right size

Put the 125mm wheels on the drills and run the drills at top speed then press a file against the rubber to quickly remove the desired amount of tread. A course wood file would probably work best.

Lathing down a set of Blue Wheels ain't difficult with the right cutter.

its the cheaper option for me since i have a spare tyre and i would need to buy the new wheels first
