Over that last couple of days been thinking about what to do with the bits-of-stuff-in-the-shed-that-almost-resembles-a-robot. I was just wondering what the options were on HP rams for feathers?

Off the shelf, you could use a hydraulic ram. But that will be Heavy Metal.
I know some people re¯nforced an pneumatic ram to take on the 1500psi test pressure. But for feathers, I never have seen one like that.
Thanks for the responce, sorry I've only just been able to reply...
So a hydraulic ram would work fine in a pneumatic system? What do you mean by heavy metal?
Thanks
An hydraulic ram is ment to withstand 3000psi + (currently, 4500 is the top of the commercial range).
That means it's more than strong enough to take 1000psi, but strength is in mass.
Wall thickness and so on make up the mass.
