    Hi all

    ive got a three channel spektrum handset one of the older ones, but no receiver. does anyone know of any cheap receivers 2.4ghz obviously that will work with this set?? can't remember if spektrum will only with spektrum so thats why i'm asking

    also anyone ever changed the AA battery setup in one of these to a pack? might be doing this myself but seeing if anyone has advice or whatever first

    ive got a couple that are compatable, they seem to failsafe in my feather that i could sell you if you are going to robots live

      when you say compatible, compatible with what kind of spektrum set? unfortunately i'm not going to RL event but im happy enough to pay pandp on top, if it turns out to be the right thing

        its dsm2 it works with dx5es dx6is and all horizon hobby txs, exept the old dx6s

          It all depends on whether the handset is DSM or DSM2. As Alex says it's quite old, I have a feeling it might just be DSM, in which case all those nice cheap receivers on eBay won't work with them.
          Any more info on your handset Alex?

            it is a dsm says on it,

            so arent there any dsm cheapo receivers about??

              no, not really they've stopped making dsm, its all dsm2 now

                when you say it's a 3 channel set do you mean it's one of the ones with the steering wheel? If it is then you'll need one of the surface receivers such as the sr300. If by chance it's a dx3.0 then they will work fine with it.

                You can pick them up quite easily (ebay is about £30) as they seem to still make the ground dsm stuff not like the AR6000 or BR6000.
