    Look at web sites,
theres a list of links to roboteer web sites on the database section of this forum. More links, database of most fw on http://www.FeatherWeights.orghttp://www.FeatherWeights.org.
Best thing to do is read and look at personal roboteer web sites and see what they have done, they all give help and so fourth.

Try and come to live events whereever possible and try and get near the pits and speak to a roboteer saying ur interested in building a feather and all sorts.

And keep reading all over this fourm it is handy!

IMO, Debenham is a great place as you get a lot of great battles and great robots competing. Then you get me... LOL!

By the looks of it, the feathers will be a great competition this year and cheer on Team PLF in the feathers. Dont ask me which one as I dont even know which ones were entering..

BTW- Good luck in building your feather martyn...

You will proberly see me Martyn rounding up the robots for their battles. Hehe.
Try and speak to other roboteers - thats how you learn. Thats how i and proberly 99% other roboteers have learnt.

My site has a full feather diary over the last 3 years, may be of some use so that you dont make the same mistakes I have. Yep, see anyone who is going at Deb.

Debenham is a place near Ipswich and your right debenhams is a shop but that has nothign to do with robots.

Its easier to remember town names than dates. So we talk about Newark, Debenham, Worthing, etcetera. Sometimes the event no longer takes place in said town but we still cling to its name. Check the live events archive on this forum and you will know when what where happened (and could happen again).
