    Hi I'm back!
    What would people say is the best plastic for a pneumatic robot armour/frame.
    And where can u buy it?

      for the Armour that would be go for 6+ if your weight allows

      nylon has been used for frame work successfully before in small compact robots eg drumroll

        I use 6mm HDPE for armour too, seems to work quite nicely. I also use Nylon and RG1000 for the chassis, RG1000 is cheaper than nylon and a bit easier to work with but not quite as good, but thats the trade off you have to decide on.

          got some 6mm polycarbonate and it seems fairly tough

              remember hdpe is realy soft and floppy(giggdy) when its thin s you may have to strenghan it

                I'm using a steel frame ( with really bad welding!) and ali where it's going to be weak!

                    My dad is sure that 1mm steel is good for a base plate when it needs to be good for 23kg, and it isn't so back me up!
