    Hi Chris, welcome to the forum for a basic wedge this is what you need:
    ESC: 2x http://www.electronize.co.uk/model_elec ... frames.htm
    motors and batts: 2x cheap drills eg homebase £10 drills

    6mm for top and bottom

        the more information you can give on what you want, the more help you can get, do you want a simple cheap robot that will just trundle around the arena and be cheap to repair, or a big expensive complicated thing, what kind of budget do you have, £200? £250? £500?

          His budget is £250 to build a feather rambot and an ant

                    go spectrum from the start, i bourght budget things to start with and it has cost me more as i had to buy everything twice

                          I know the price can seem steep but honestly they are worth it, all the features and the fact that you can use multiple robots on one DX6i means it is definately a good buy.
