        For some context the peak ratings (probably what these cheap ESC are on about) on the Electronize 15amp ESC is 270amps.

          those speed controlers look fab but if the max volts is 7.2? would it be ok to run 7.2 on a 12volt motor? or do i over volt it?

            you can run it at 7.2v but the motors will not be as quick, 12v will be quicker and overvolting will be quickest

              No they're crap. Don't waste your money on them. Save up and buy a decent controller

                i would go 12v, much better power, or 2 7.2V batteries in series
