  • Giant Cod 2.4Ghz Radio Gear

    HI All,

We have a bug in our system that I'm struggling to track down. We are using a 2nd hand Giant Cod 2.4Ghz radio set (this one here http://www.giantcod.co.uk/gianitcod-24g ... 03779.html) and although the seller said it had been repaired by Giant Cod (following some common fault with the sets) but it seems likely that this is what is causing us problems.

Every now and then for no particular reason we lose all response from the machine. I'm pretty sure it's not an electrical fault so though it may be the radio set.

I just wondered what other people's experience with this set was like? And what that common fault was?

Process of elimination and all that!

    Thanks,

are you using a bec? it is possible that the voltage from the bec is dropping causing the receiver to cut out.

Yeh I am using a BEC. I'll add a battery pack and see if that solves it.

My first post still stands. What is that common fault? And what are other people's experiences?

Hhhhhmmm interesting. I may get in contact with Giant Cod, see what they can do, once I have tried the BEC potential problem.
