Axe based weapon.

Hey again, after alot of thinking I have decided to do an axe based weapon (Maybe a hammer not sure yet) but I don't know about getting the weapon to work, what will I need (Motors etc) or is pneumatics better? Please give your verdict or suggestions

the motor idea is easy to make than pneumatic but u need a high volt motor and battery

Thank you for finding that it actualy is pretty simple, I thought you would need some sort of burst motor in order to do it but this is pretty simple thanks

What motor would you recomend for a good axe weapon..? And I'm thinking of fighting a Pickaxe head on it that'd be deadly.

thats ok its what the place is for i am building my first robot

sorry but i dont know what motor (not an expert ) but someone should, but look at spinners and see what motor volts they use

I found a 24V Electric scooter motor on ebay for like £40 but what should I use to power it? and is this motor good?

Also jack, What chain set do you use? All I can find is Bicyle ones or motor bike ones would those be suitable?

Not sure about jacks but mine came from a scooter some sets are aviable on ebay like this or i've also seen them pretty cheap on an australian website here or you can do as i did and ring up any uk scooter shop and they have loads spare.
