  • feather weight armour add on type things....................

ill try to make it more clear with what i mean,

for my feather spinner with a vertical drum i've got the ultimate full proof idea that will allow me to drive into a horizontal disk and come out ontop, but it would envolve having a removable section of chassis/armour, i wouldn't be having the attachment on the robot all the time only when it would be against a horizontal, is this allowed??

the attachment will not be a weapon in itself so thats whats making me wonder as on robotwars tornado wasn't allowed the scoop without having a chain flail on it to make it not be a defensive add on- instead making it an active weapon.

as long as its still within the weight limit i think its ok but dont take my word for it.

There would be no problem with this plan, providing the maximum weight of the robot in any configuration is 13.60Kg or less.

      Build rules (section 2) refers....

      2.5.
If interchangeable panels and/or weapons are used, the weight is measured with the
      heaviest set-up in place.
