im starting to cycle the nimh 12v packs for prodigy evo in time for rebel robots. I am discharging them to 1.2v per cell, and charging them at 0.8amps, i will do this 10 times on each pack. should this be sufficent to bring em up to speed? and is the rate ok?
i havent charged them for about 4 months, which isnt the best idea but they were all registering around 12volts, so hopefully they will be ok.

Dont quote me but I was told that nimh packs dont suffer the same memory damage as nicads. So they should be fine. I and others have left packs for longer then 4 months and they have been ok.
I would think 10 times is a little be excessive. I usually do two cycles the day after a competition at around .5amp charge and discharge. However I am no expert.
    Gd luck at rebel.
