Ok,will I need one of these for my buffer as well as my main tank?

And does this need to be accessible like a link is?

        Thanks.

          No.
You will however need a dump valve of some sort connected to the buffer.

How do I connect my 5/2 valve to my battleswitch?

I assume that the 5/2 is a solenoid valve with a coil on, probably has got three pins on. Use the two pins that are opposite to each other to connect to the outputs on the battleswitch I guess.

Cant really be more helpful, never used a battleswitch and dont know what valve you are using.

As Ed said ...solenoid has two opposite pins use them and ignore the third.

                  Battery + to battleswitch
                  Battery - to valve coil
Join the spare connections of the solenoid and the battleswitch.
