  • Well I've never noticed that before!!

Ive been having a test of Cylon over the last few days which is a first as it normally sat in bits until the night before an event.

Anyway, its always been a bit twitchy on the controls and a bit hard to handle. I think I may have found the problem.

When you push the control to the left (thus expecting it to go left) it goes right. When you push it to go right it goes left.

I was thinking about how to fix this and would have thought it may need a bit of a tweak at the receiver end or just a reversal of the motor polarity. (may have happened when I rewired it)

    Any thoughts anyone??

, nope because then you will have the same problem but with forwards and reverse being switched. You could swap the motor leads over and reverse polarity.. easyer just to change the programming in the TX thought.. just read the manual.

            Transmitter ...hand ..buttons push?

Try swapping the speedo feeds between motors.

            What transmitter have you?

Bet Mouldys beaten me to it....

                  mwahaha :P

Andy - isnt it just a matter of flicking a switch on your TX to switch the direction of your channel? Would help if you could tell us the exact model of TX. were you get it from? Try and find it on technobots or somthing and show us.

HAHA, got it form Froggy when I bought Cylon.

Will have a look tomorrow and let you know. As I said, robots wine, late at night - recipe for disaster!!

Andy ...You said your bot is twitchy ...
If it is still difficult to finesse at the smaller stick movement then you could possibly calm it down a little if your transmitter has an exponential function.

                        Goodnight....

20 seconds, flick of the switch and sorted. Cheers for that
