Whenever I am connecting large numbers of connections I always use ring crimp connectors. I attach them all to a single bolt and screw a nut on top to secure them onto it.
Just make sure you first attach the bolt to something non conducting i.e. a plastic and make sure that the connections are properly crimped or soldered on.
Its very secure and I have yet to have this type of power distribution fail on me.
If you arent sure what I mean by the above I will see if i can find a pic.
The connectors are circular metal and have a hole in them, so in effect they are like a washer that has a wire coming off it. They then get put on the bolt and tightened/fixed in place with nuts. As Gary said, its best to fix the bolt to a piece of plastic or similar but I ran out of time to do this so I just covered my bolts in insulation tape as you can probably see from the picture, but I had 4+ wires attached to one bolt, and like Gary and Shane have never had them fail me.
can i just add if you use electrical tape like jamie and me of course you might want to be careful as over time the tape becomes a little brittle with the heat and may need changing.
