My latest robot and one which I have built entirely on my own (its my D.T GCSE project)

Name- Tidal Wave 2
Weight- Roughly 11kg at the moment
Drive- 2x MFA 50:1 motors running 70mm wheels
Batteries- 2x 12v Ni-Mh
Control- Electronize 15Amp (will change to scorpion XL or sabretooth), Spektrum DX6 radio
Weapon- 16 bar CO2 flipper
Construction- HDPE & Ti

Just when you thought we couldnt get any more robots heres another one

Since Aftershock was overweight it has now had an extensive weight loss and rebuild so I decided to rename it as well.

Name- WHIRLWIND
Weight- currently 13.2kg
Drive- 2x 18v drills
Batteries- 2x 12v Ni-Mh packs
Control- Scorpion XL
Weapon- Full Pressure CO2 flipper (with a tiny 32mm bore, 50mm stroke ram)
Construction- welded 5mm HDPE & 2mm steel
Notes- FP system is from Cutlet 540

I will probably wait until after the UK champs (the current one may get even more damaged so ill leave it for now)

prodigy evo v2

horizontal single toothed, hardox disk (weight unknown since conversion but was 3kg)

Weapon drive:-
2 speed 900 motors running on 24v into custom mario gearbox
drive:-
2 speed 700bb turbo motors on 12v with custom mario drive gearboxes.
Armour:-
20mm hdpe back and sides with 10mm lid/base
Power:-
3 X 12V 4000mah nimh packs, sabertooth 25a controller, solid state relay with technobots battleswitch for weapon.

originally built and designed by mario and leo. some inevitable reliability issues in competition now sorted,(wont be snapping any more belts!) single tooth conversion by robochallenge.
will post pics on youtube once tested with single tooth, but old link below when it had 3 teeth. speed of disk is unknown but it is blimmin fast!

Our guestimation is 8000-9000 rpm on 24V. Its really fast.
