Query about speed

hi all

at the moment psycho fling has 2 18volt drill motors for drive powered by 24vish, i want to get rid of one battery saving weight and change my 18v motors for 12v, and they will then run on 16vish.

my question is will it be as fast, or perphaps will it give the same performance as my other setup?

Query about speed

In both cases you are running the motor at 1.33 times its rated voltage. So it depends if the normal speed of your 12 volt motors is the same as the normal speed of your 18 volt motors. Try it and see. But within a month the weight limit for feathers will rise to 13.6 kg - you could just wait for that instead of changing batteries and motors to save weight.

it may be as fast but I cant see it giving the same amount of push as your previous setup.

Much point in losing weight with the new 13.6kg limit coming in?

well i will need to lose the weight because of the new armour, its errr a bit weighty
