I dont know if this has been done before,but anyway:
Say we have 16 feathers at an event.
Split them into four teams of four.The teams are decided out of the hat.
4 v 4 elimination tag.
The rules are:
One from each team start in the middle,they fight,the three other team mates of each team are in the corners and can be tagged in at any time by the active robot driving back to his corner.When any robot gets pushed into the opponents corner all those robots in that corner can attack it.
The winners and losers are decided by the first bot in the arena being immobilised,ootaed,pitted-whatever.The robot that gets immobilsed,pitted,ootaed is removed from the arena and we continue until any number of members of one team remain!
It would work 4 v 4 v 4 v 4 brilliantly.....if you have a big enough arena this is.

And the average size of a featherweight robot?
