Ive had another look at the pics on your site Alex ... you have many exposed connections.. example:- Your LED spade connections .. insulate them ALL.
Fuses for just your speed controllers will save .... well .....just your speed controllers .
Place the fuse as close to the main battery plug as possible and before any other connections.
Aside from the insulation issues at the moment, Psycho Ram is looking good!
Its kind of bizarre actually - the reason I sold that chassis was because I didnt have the time or money to get it up and running alongside Kaizer, but looking at your pic of it with the top off, it looks very similar to the way Ive rebuilt Kaizer now (piccy on profile) - something I didnt even notice at the early stages of building it. My chassis could probably fit into the Psycho Ram top bit quite well now
Out of interest, where do the batteries go? I can see a couple of spaces where they could sit but Im not sure - just curious though
ok ill put a fuse in and yes the speedos already have them, but better safe than sorry i have now insulated everysingle connection even the link just to be sure, and yes the power light
i will label the spaces where the batteries go jamie
i will put another pic of the improved insulated electrics, this will also include the aerial protection , but you may spot 4 bare wires dont be alarmed these will be connectected and covered well
