Tim I like the shape of the new BronX, stealthy and it looks very well built as well.

Samuel any pics of the new addition yet? sounds like another Mag spinner to add to the list.

And same question for you Tony, any pics yet? or is it looking same as it was before and how it is on your site.

Oh well good work guys and look fwd to meeting these bots in the arena sometime.

No mag motor personly I dont see how you could put one in a 12kg bot and use it to its full potential. its ev powered with drills for drive. I have a design without motors or axle on my profile.

Same shape as before. Just changing the weapon to Ti and going to chain drive for the weapon.

Oh right sorry Samuel, its just that you quoted 6000rpm for the disk and only a Mag motor could privide that off the bat.

So are you gearing up an Ev warrior then because on no load at 24v they only do 4480rpm and maybe a couple of rpm over that for 25.2v?

And while im online for anyone who is interested Ive started a collection of parts for my next project, picture on profile. Possibly not a featherweight!

The disk is geared up at the moment but I may drop to 1:1 (current plan is around (1:1.5), it depends on the losses in the bearings and the performance of the batteries.

For reference pimp 2 has a ev warrior at 1:2 @25.2v and we have measured it at over 8000rpm with a calibrated tacho. in theory this bot should be less powerfull than pimp 2 @1:2 but more powerfull than pimp 2 @ 1:5. Im going to try it geared up 150% and drop it if there are problems.
