  • Rules on static weaponary?

I am planning to start building and entering feathers soon(ish) but wondered is there a rule at the minute to say that you cant use a static weapon or just brute force and torque of say a wedge shaped robot to cause damage to another robot. I cant find anything in the current FRA rules to state that this isnt allowed, so Im assuming this is allowed still and is only banned in Robot Wars heavyweights (when RW still exsisted of course!)

Can anyone shed light on this for me?

    Cheers
    Luke

Non-active weaponed bots are certainly allowed in 99% if not all events around these days. The robot wars producers just set the rule that heavyweights had to have active weapons in series seven to liven things up a little after having an argueably boring box win the previous series.

As RW is no longer made it is allowed in 100% of events in the UK and for all weights.
