        Thanks guys.

The alu is 7075 T6 and the toolsteel is hardened 45NiCrMo16 (1.2767)

Its great to see that actually being made. I have several designs that look like that but without a CNC they are just pipe dreams. I am a little worried about the teeth though. There is a slot right where they join and over time I think they might snap because of the reduced cross section. But I guess we will see!

                So do I...

Need the last parts to get started on that. Did get the drive somewhat sorted today but can't advance without the final parts.

I know the feeling. Most of T3 is still awaiting quotes, let alone cutting and assembly. I look (tentatively) forward to our fight.

Don't worry. It won't have horns like bulls it did.

Received the drum 2 days ago and the belt and pulley yesterday.
Building my machine with my minds eye is so much easier than actualy doing it with tools involved.

Drum is mounted, design is getting a redraft as it won't fit all the component the way I envisioned it.

...Ordered a 200a fuse and a fuseholder. Completely forgot about that requirement...

Not sure how to arrange it's layout.
I'm short on space at the moment.
Will try to make some longer bulkheads tomorrow.

                            Larger bulkheads have been made.
The machine will be 5cm longer now which is still nothing compared to it's width.
Width is 68cm, length is 32cm (without the drum poking out).

                            Couldn't find a banana so I placed a 30cl beerbottle in it

                              What's the frame material, HDPE?

Some form of pe. I think it's recycled plastic (hdpe and ldpe).
We've got over 50 square feet of the stuff at home.
Was used as an underlayer to drive upon on construction sites and free.

                                It's 21mm thick.
