I've decided to build a fw, already built a terrible ant and a battle antz kit.
My parts list is not completed, here is what i have so far:
gimson gr02s
hdpe 12 x 1000 x 500mm
blue robochallenge wheels
Fly-sky FS-t4b transmitter (already have)

I aim to get this done for the northern tour and build over the summer holidays

I'd go for a 4s lipo instead of the nimh, lighter, more powerful and probably cheaper. If you're using the Accucell it charges lipo anyway

Treated right they aren't dangerous, you just have to make sure they are well protected, charged correctly and not over discharged.

well protected in the robot? i highly doubt i can do that after my last ant.

Just so it's secure and isn't in any danger of being hit or knocked loose, in a box with foam is fine and cheap/easy.

Anybody know where i can find a removable link for sale? And where can i find a suitable led?

LEDs you can find at any good hobby store, but ask someone other than me about links. Mine was a complete bodge.
