only one reply on link any other takers,
Quick update modding no toys axe reduced weight of axe arm and head by about 150gram and new axe a frame will be about 1kg less then the old design and stronger, might use them speed 900s for the axe still not dead set on the design as yet

What you competing with at the weekend? The current/older design?

Had to make some steel brackets to mount my wheels on Onyx (the nut inserts had worn out), now back up to 14kg though! Glad it's only whiteboards at Deeside.

Also more parts arrived today for Ceros 4 midi fuses and 1 fuse distribution board, looking at fusing both batteries and both motors , also some nice new solder and flux to help solder the ec5 connectors. Any more advice on the bottle valve link above ?

Looks like it has a tapered thread (3/4" bspp) so wouldn't fit most modern fire extinguisher bottles found in the UK. You need one with an M25 thread I imagine.

                          ceros photos

some photos of recent work and original gearbox under drive testing was weak at best only having very undersized bearings all new much larger bearings and mounting system in design process and ordered.

                          http://www.technobotsonline.com/tech...ay-type-a.html

these would be good for the burket valves using two to control full flip and self right flip using a timer relay to close exhaust valve after 3 seconds to save power

how many people use gyros and would this be any good something I have never used only when in helis,

                            http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...arehouse_.html

bearings fitted too ceros but very little clearance just ordered different housings to accommodate more tyre clearance

                            who likes the wedge design

Great looking design, wish I had the time and money to make a full metal bot. Really looking forward to bringing my nylon machine to the FW champs this year.

I'm a bit out of the loop, what feathers are you running at the minute? It'd be good to have another fight with No Toy, last years bout was a bit lame!
