Out of interest, why are you not designing to 30 lbs? Are you in the US?

Beautifully designed machines though just make sure that you have left enough room for the wires and the like. I designed my machines in CAD then discovered that the gaps looked much bigger on the screen.

      Re: Team Undefined

I'm in Pennsylvania, so near me there are more 12lb competitions than 30lb. Also with the bottom beater, actually already have made a mock prototype of it on a CNC router and fit the electronics inside. Hope to do that with the wedge soon enough.

Edit: Also have competed with 15lb battlebots throughout high school for botsIQ, so 12lb/15lb robots are what I am used to.

        Ah that explains it.

I should have mocked them in wood first, then I wouldn't be where I am now

          Progress Update

Hello , after a rather hectic few weeks, finally competed with the drum design with my school's BotsIQ. The following images are of the copy of the robot, that was produced for my school's team, and is owned by my school's battlebots team.

The following image is a copy of most of the frame , owned by me. The frame is machined out of 7050. This copy is a slightly revised edition of original, and owned by me.
