If I read this about you and you were coming to my events , I'm sorry but I'd be telling you that you weren't welcome.

This kind of trash talk is out of order!!! It's the bit about carrying on after a tap out that bothered me !!

I have been trying to avoid this but I have to say I am greatly disturbed.

I have been in this game for all of 9 months and yet I have been through an instance of loosing £££ in a fight. NTS caused around £250 worth of damage in my final fight but this does not mean I how have an seething urge to go out and trash Sam's machine.

Of course I do not know the circumstances of the incident but now that you have mentioned it you are going to have to inform everyone.

There are many examples of machines being damaged despite them being out of the fight and just being caught up... Beauty 2 has been on the receiving end twice. This is mainly caused by spinners. I must point out that you are running a spinner yourself and are aiming to cause similar levels of damage; the way I see it you are part of the problem. If you cant take the damage then do try and dish it out!

I confess myself disappointed that this kind of attitude is present in what is otherwise a great example of camaraderie and communal integration. Cue visual representation of my feelings...

Generally a nice guy who has been ripped off twice by people u trust with your hard earned cash? Havebt u had fall outs? I know one with a friend of mine but yours didn't end up on the forum ;-)

Trashing my robot in an arena to me is part of it, let it inspire you to bring it bak better. Hence why I would never tap out, if I paid to watch a fight and without me their wouldn't be a show I'd be disappointed to see a tap out (kinda defeats the object in my eyes) as soon as your receiving the punishment your tapping out? If it was gentlemanly roboteers fighting would av a chat before fight commenced, theirs only 2 full combat events a year lol, its not like every month!! I always went with, if they stop moving I will stop, surely that should b the same today.
Or why not no holds barred fights?
But when give someone cash in hand for something u don't get what was agreed, to me is worse than giving their robot a beating, any fight I had with my spinner I always said to my opponent if I get the upper hand let me know when your done.

I tried to do things the correct way in the past, informed fra who did bugger all so learnt to just sort it myself

I know what some people think of me and say what they want, I av never wanted to be in the little gang anyway lol

I dont want to get involved and am only throwing something out here, but what if you dont get drawn against them? Or they for some reason dont attend the champs?

I'm a patient man, been waiting along long time. I don't expect to get far in competition, alot better robots than mine. if I'm in a fight that's entertaining to watch I will b a happy man, I prefer to watch the nastier spinners if anything, I bring my robot to fight if I make friends great, if not i won't lose any sleep over it.
Also I don't need people on here to agree with me, I'm not looking for other people's understandings, I know that I was blatently ripped off and so do they, saving for ages just to be conned, I have had alot of smooth transactions with Mario, robochallenge, buying and selling bits on here, but a minority ruin it for others,
Please remember people I ain't here to destroy your machine ( and most stand up to spinners better than mine anyway) or fight ungentlemanly, I'm just pointing out I'm after a machine to settle a grudge.
Anyways Ever sport needs a baddie lol and as this isn't sum popularity contest .......

Not happy about the turn in this conversation.
I can imagine people having dislikes to each other. I'm still wavering on that atm concerning roboteers.

But to ignore the gentlemans agreements. Nope. That's way beyond me.

I know, there are people who do laught at the basic rules of engagement.
Most of them are now part of the past. The few remaining will learn the wrongness of their goal. Or quit because being shunned.

Imagine any marial artist beating his opponent after the towel is trown untill his opponent is dead... That ain't competition, that's plain murder.

And even some roboteers did do so in the past, it's not a reason to do so in the future, not even for revenge.

In the end, as I see it. It's a mind to mind competition.
Who can get the right stuff and people together with the available resources?
Not a competion who can drive others away by causing losses to horrible to play

In a byplay of this. People can feel exploited....
