Only one i can think of is you can buy them off the shelf and not after make something

      Re: Cobalt

End switches already installed, so it doesn't try to destroy your robot with back force.

Probably at least 1mm more than the armour on my robot

                Re: Cobalt

Rather than a certain thickness it can go through its more to do with how the armour is supported underneath, if its only supported at each side it will bend the middle in, if its supported everywhere it will have more of a chance to go through

Cos both your machines are sturdy welded boxes I would have thought that would make them ideal targets for getting crushed. Sorry. But then again, if any machine is designed to stop spinners then its probably going to be perfect for Cobalt no matter what.

                    Re: Cobalt

That's the great news for crushers these days, everyone is focussing on defending against spinners in the featherweight space... which don't usually attack you from on top !

Vortex is being retrofitted with 10mm 2014T Aluminium up top !

so my only hope is the pit, push him in or hide in it

                        Re: Cobalt

On the kind of upside there is only 1 true crusher in the feathers; Maybe 2 when James gets Goblin up and running, rather then the 15+ spinners of various types.

Kenny, is that a new crushing beak, it looks much larger than the one in Cobalt 1's Autodesk drawing, or has the robot shrunk slightly?
