went to robots live at the telford expo this weekend but my girlfriend decided about 2 weeks before she wanted a fw to use.
had practically no free time at all but did have a pile of parts and after seeing alans 9 hour build or something of his feather flipper he built i thought i'd have a go too...

was surprised as to what i managed to produce in a short amount of time, no templates, no drawings and no real planning and no real materials with only scraps of everything left!
few draw backs though, had to wire it up on the day and because the event had to finish early didn't get to really try it! the gas bottle is caught on the wheel, the electrics arn't mounted properly and most things were a rush rush to get them inside. but tbh with a good days work and some better armour and a new baseplate bolted to the frame- allowing me to remount the enternals off of it it won't be too bad hopefully. think ill redesign the flipper arm too as it looks wierd i think but tbf i started making it at 8 the night before and finished it a few hours later so i was limited with what i could be ars*d to do lol
