Ahhh I see . Those parts should be in Scar in time for its unveiling at Edinburgh. Is 4mm HDPE for a base not a wee bit on the thin side . My feather is double that

I suppose as a flipper you wont spend too much time with the base on show so its not that bad.

harry you look like a serial killer in that last photo by the way we had to transport metanoia by pushing it on a trolley for 2 miles from my house to harrys

Haha nice, sounds like a hi tech solution. Did you take any videos of it when it was still running? Interested to see how fast there motors and SLAs i've now got will go when they're in a robot

                          Re: Metanoia-heavyweight

i remember the motors gave 10 mph on the wheels that came with them so if you still have the wheels you can measure the width in inches, divide 10mph by that and you'll get the speed/inch. you can them measure the wheels your using now and work out how fast you'll be able to go. the sla's should be ample to power the bot for a fight or two. i has several videos of tests and stuff but i've lost the bloomin sd card that they're on!

Ahh yeah I know it will be dependant on the diameter/circumference of the wheel but just wanted to see it in action anyway . The wheels I am using with them are pretty much the same, maybe just slightly smaller.
