  • smash 'em' up (mid weight)

    planning on building a middle weight robot and i was wondering if these drills would be ok? http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Produc...7C14418778.htm
    and what eles do i need? gunna make a wedge shaped invertable robot with a spinning disk at the back

    dont bother with a middle weight, and if you do drills would be waaaay underpowered go for wheelchair motors or bosch 400/750s
    build a featherweight, they are cheeper and there are actaaly competitions for them. you can use drills in a feather.

      Build a featherweight, Drill motors are fine for feathers. Feathers a nice easy start point and is the most popular weight class. Plus you can build them quite cheap. And if I was you I wouldnt build a robot with a spinning weapon because you will only be able to use it once or twice a year at Robo Challenge events
