Speed Controler Help

Hi just wondering if you could get the speed controler out of a rc car to use in a fighting robot to control a drill motor. I go to alot of car boots and you can get these all the time if they have a usefull speed controller out of them it would make things abit cheaper thanks for your help everyone

if its a speed controller that has the receiver wired in, then no. However, there are a few high end RC cars with speedos rated high enough to handle drill motors, I believe Mtronics is a popular one, although, IMHO you would be better off buying a designated robot controller like a scorpion XL, electronize or sabretooth.

Thanks for this i like to reuse things as much as possible but it looks like i would be very unlikly to find a rc car that would be usefull to me

u can buy a traxxas rc speed controller but they only work with 1 motor and r alot of money
