Went to homebase today and bought 3 drill motors (I broke one and I'm upgrading it to 4 wheel drive).
I've just taken them apart.

Yeah i'm going to make it 12mm shorter so it can run upside down.

Unsoldered the useless wire connected to the drills.

A little concern is the name of this robot to do with nuclear or is it the team name?

I'm pretty sure that it's an American machine in the 120lb weight catagory called Fusion or possibly Fission and there's another one with a hammer with the other name.

Yeah it's an american machine but has got anything to do with nuclear.

New Project! ( kind of to do with roboteering).
Ok we have benn trying top get a varible output bench power supply for a while, and I was searching around on the internet about them, and I thought would I be able to build one? Yes!
I went to instructables to find out on how to build one and got some instructions.
converting AC to DC is easy. A computer power supply (PSU).
Had alook around in the shed and found an old PSU. I've been testing it today and finding out which cables give what voltages. Tommorow i'm going to maplin to get all the bits I need. I hope it works
